anemone ring

This post may only make sense to one person, and she may have forgotten. I present the anemone ring.

I couldn't make it using the beads from just one Beaded flower ring kit, and I don't think it would be suitable for an hour workshop – takes too long, and the joining step will almost certainly need to be done after the workshop.

For my first attempt, I rolled a length of brick stitched beads. I unpicked this version. For my second attempt, I used square stitch to make a strip which I joined to form a tube. You may just be able to see; I attached six beads, three rows from the bottom. It is through these beads I threaded the tentacles. It is still not right, but for my fourth attempts, I am not going to restrict myself to the beads from the workshop. I am nearly there.
